Part of the supermarket chain ‘Auchan’, Chronodrive is the internet self-collection branch of the shop. Order online, and collect at a time of your convenience. If you don’t find time to collect it, you don’t pay. Otherwise, you get 12 hours to make your collection. Drive up (think McDonalds drive through) pay at the machine, without getting out of your car, then drive up and a lovely person will put the shopping in the car for you.
“Never again will I drag my kids around the supermarket, this has truly revolutionised my life!. A fantastic service, it is so easy, I just wish they would come home and unpack the bags as well!” (HS, November 2011)

The Section Internationale organises English lessons to children whose mother tongue is English, or who have proven spoken and written fluency in the language, and who are integrated into the French school system. It forms part of a bilingual education. The broad aim of the English Programme is to maintain a child’s proficiency in English while s/he progresses through the French educational system. The bilingual system also enables a pupil to re-integrate into an English-speaking educational system whenever necessary and at whatever level. For more information contact Debbie Stuart.
“English 31 is English lessons for children that have one or more English speaking parents. Classes take place on a Wednesday and it is wonderful for the kids to have the opportunity to learn English as they would if they were having an English education.” (JA)

Online home schooling for children
Home for School provides lessons and support to ensure your childrens skills in English are not forgotten.
"Many expat children have a great start in life as they are able to enjoy a new culture and learn another language. It is enviable how quickly they adapt to a new language. However, it is still important that they master the skills of reading and writing in their mother tongue." (Samantha Scholte, founder)
"Sam has been an excellent online teacher for my son Tom age 11. She has taught him regularly for 18 months. He really looks forward to her lessons & she clearly makes them interesting or he wouldnt say this! He has had her teach him in a small group of 3 or 4 children as well as more recently on a one to one basis. Her lessons are national curriculum based & she takes the time to find out what your child is interested in as well as liaise with parents to find out any special requirements or areas you want her to focus teaching on. I would definitely recommend her."(KL- mum to Tom age 11, March 2012)

"The opportunity to hear (and try to speak) French combined with the history of a well-known French dish, to make it and to try it, was so interesting. I hope to repeat the experience soon. Also it was good to meet new people and have a wonderful lunch on the the terrace. It was truly a lovely, cultural and social experience." (May 2012)

“We absolutely loved our garden design consultation session with you – both thought you were brilliant, very knowledgeable (& Dave is a tricky customer to please sometimes). In particular the pragmatic advice & focusing on how we could add value to enhance our living space now was really useful. We’re going to get bay tree asap & the other ideas will be following on too as we will pretty much be going with all of them – just need to phase them in now!! Your engaging approach made the whole thing really fun too!” (Mr & Mrs Dickenson)
