    Gymboree - A mums and tots program designed for babies aged from 0-5. They offer a variety of classes – gym, yoga, music and art, all of which include lots of singing and participation.

They do a lunch time menu as well as Sunday brunch. Its open Tuesday to Saturday from 10.30am until 6.30pm and Sundays from 11am until 6pm

    Moored on the Seine, La Guinguette Pirate hosts daytime entertainment for children from 3 and upwards: theatre, storytelling, music and dance. Shows are adapted especially for their age and the team does everything to make the little ones feel quite at home.
    In the evening, the Guinguette Pirate is transformed into a concert venue. For the Mums and Dads, of course!

    Over 850 life-size copies of Frances architectural treasures (including portions of great cathedrals such as Chartres) make for a fascinating visit for children of all ages. To help them understand the exhibits, colourful interactive games are dotted around the permanent displays, so they can try their hand at architecture and learn the concepts of Romanesque and Gothic as they create fantastical animal heads, design stained-glass windows or build a Romanesque arch. On Saturdays at 2pm, three- to seven-year-olds can have a go at doing some building themselves with wooden blocks. Entry is €8 and you dont need to reserve (just turn up about 30 minutes beforehand).

    The English-speaking Mums of Paris is free by signing  up on the Meetup site The group is open to any English speaking parents in Paris - they have a combination of British, South African, American, New Zealand and  French mums who previously lived in the UK and want to keep their English going and have their kids hear English.
    The children range in ages from newborns to around 3. All members are free to create meetings/suggest an activity.  They also offer mother and child yoga, music classes, and one-off events. Usually a different venue each time.
