    Comments:
”Not only great classes by English mother tongue teachers which you would do in additional to the normal school curriculum, but also a great way to meet other English speakers in this area.” (WJ, Mar 2011)

"I found PIG on the web as soon as I landed in Montpellier. We moved here for my husbands two year research position, and although I hope to integrate into local society as much as possible while here, I realised that my lack of french language skills and routine of a full time mum could cause me to become a social hermit of note. PIG has been great - I received a very warm reception in a casual atmosphere and have found much in common with many people. And my son, Alex, has a ball chasing and being chased by all the expat kiddos. Vive PIG!" (RC March 2011)

  • Musee Fabre, Montpellier

    Recommended by Helen Bevis

Centro Yoga Om, Vilanova i la Geltru Image

Musée Fabre in Montpellier, Languedocs most important art museum, reopened in February 2007 with a programme of workshops for children throughout the year. The multimedia stations also offer art-based games.  An association was formed to encourage and help people to engage with Montpellier’s Musée Fabre. They’ve devised three booklets for children to make their museum visit more fun and hold various events for kids and their families. You can find the association Les Amis de Musée Fabre in the gallery’s entrance hall on the first Sunday of the month, or at their offices nearby on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Alternatively, ask at the museum’s front desk where you’ll find more information about family visits and about the regular Wednesday art workshops they run for children.
