A self-catering apartment ‘complex’ owned and restored by the Mulcares family. The English owners have made sure every possible need is met, especially for families with young children. The apartments overlook the river (the Gave de Lutour).
"If you are looking for a dose of intense, lush greenery, I highly recommend a trip to Cauterets in France’s Hautes-Pyrenees department bordering Spain, just north of Huesca. This historic town first became a major tourist destination back in the 16th Century when Queen Marguerite of Navarre visited with her court to take, and bathe in, the mineral rich waters – said to be a cure for respiratory problems, throat and nose ailments and arthritic aches and pains. The town grew to accommodate its Curistes (visitors coming for treatment) and at its peak of popularity at the end of the 19th Century, had 150 hotels. Many of the original buildings with their balustrades and fine metal balconies have been restored giving the town a delightfully Victorian feel." (LC, June 2010)

"Stayed here for 3 nights when a family crisis cut short our camping holiday. Jen and James are fantastic hosts and they did everything possible to help us. The food was excellent, the bedrooms simple but to a high standard and my 10 year old felt like he was at home! Perfect location for an on route stop - would definately recommend" (Jan, Frank and George, August 2010)
"We just wanted to drop you a line to let you what a fantastic time we had staying at La Noyeraie this summer.
The apartment was perfect for our needs, with Julia being two - space for us to chill whilst she napped, no stairs and shutters to block out the light at bedtime. It was very handy being able to prepare meals ourselves, as Julia is not very patient when she is hungry.
You both made us feel so welcome; made sure we had everything we needed and gave great advice about things to do in the area. I would definitely recommend the animal park in Gramat to anyone visiting the area and of course, the monkeys!
Thanks again for a fab holiday and we hope to be back again soon" (Kerry, Stephen & Julia)

Two spacious traditional gascogne cottages "Le Faucon" and "Alouette" located near Bezolles, Gers, South West France. Situated in stunning countryside surrounded by sunflowers and vines and just a 5 minute drive from all amenities.
Perfect for families as the cottages have a beautiful diverse outside space: courtyard, private patios, two lawned areas separated by hedging, sunbathing deck and shady areas, gardens with fruit trees and a ping pong table. There is a large 12m x 6m secure fenced swimming pool with a self locking gate, plus a purpose built toddler area within the pool itself with a separate decking area for relaxing and sunbathing.
They are toddler friendly and have been certified that our gites, grounds and pool areas are safe for children under 5.
15km south of Condom, between the thriving spa village of Castera Verduzan and 10km from Vic Fezensac.
"We stayed for a week we needed a month! This was our first holiday abroad with our 8 month Evan so we were a bit anxious but there was no need as we had everything we needed for our stay at Alouette from changemats, bath toys, baby monitor plus the pool with the toddlers area is superb. Jo and Jean-Marc ensured we were fully equipped during our stay and helped recommend restaurants, sights and markets. It is an idyllic place to relax and explore for babies, children and adults. We have already booked for next year !" (Natalie & Family, July 2011)
"The second time round was even better....What a beautiful and magical place to stay! The second time around was even better. Jo kindly took us to Domaine les Acacias, the local vineyard, which was a great experience.... The Water park at Gondrin is also a great place to take the kids, only 4e for adults and 2e for a child. ... The patisserie in nearby Castera Verduzan is great for buying your croissants in the morning - and they should definitely be dipped in coffee! All in all, a fabulous place to have a holiday, and much love and thanks to Jo, Jean Marc and family for your kindness and help (and the plums!), we hope to see you again soon!" "The scale of Chateau de la Lanette has to be experienced first hand to be properly appreciated, the high ceilings and vast corridors are matched only by Heather, Russell, Louis, Henry and Hugos warm reception. We felt like wed moved in. In fact we found ourselves unable to leave at the end of the holiday (so we stayed another 3 days!). If you have a toddler or two this place is ideal, too many reasons to mention them all but a few are - kids meals, babysitting, generously equipped play room, cbeebies on tap, play garden with tonnes of stuff - slides, swings, ride-ons, sand-pit... best of all well 3 built-in playmates!!" "My family and I spent a wonderful week at Vacances Vertes Les Belles at the end of June. The house was as advertised and more.It was clean , comfortable and accessible. We loved being in the village close to the butcher, baker green grocer and cafe, yet stepping out the back door and literally being in the country. We made good use of the veranda and the meadow beyond it. Fresh strawberries in the morning were delightful as were the fabulous fresh vegetables which our host Anna supplied to us. Because the clothes washer was not working, Anna on two occasions picked up our dirty laundry and returned it ti us on the same day washed, dried and folded. Our five year old grandson loved the beach and lake at the edge of town and the adults enjoyed touring several of the lovely villages in the region. In short , this was a fabulous place for a family vacation" (Gene, June 2011)
