"We have been camping there for the last two years and have loved it so much we are planning to go back there again next year. When we first moved to France we used to go back to the UK and go camping in the New Forest, but last year I looked into staying in France - for two reasons - 1 The price of the ferries had gone up so much and 2 I just didnt fancy the drive. Oh and there is a third reason, my kids said they wanted to stay in France because the weather was nicer lol. I am a single mum with three children who are aged 9, 7 and 6, so being somewhere that I feel safe in the knowledge that my kids are safe is paramount. I also have a daughter who is allergic to dogs and a son who, having been attacked by dogs in the UK, has a huge fear of dogs, so a dog free site was also very important.
The site is within a 5 minute walk from the beach, and although this beach is rocky (and great for rock pooling activities) there are sandy beaches within cycling distance. The site has tent and caravan pitches as well as mobile homes; there is a heated pool and flumes, as well as an indoor pool and jacuzzi; there is a small gymnasium for those inclined; a lovely Kidsplay area and mini golf too. There are organised activities such as a kids club, pony rides, aqua aerobics, water polo/volleyball etc etc. The bar provides evening entertainment should you wish (although the bar prices are quite expensive) and the site has a small shop and takeaway serving pizzas, chips etc etc. The wash/shower facilities, although not particularly modern are cleaned daily and never seem to run out of hot water :o). Also, the staff speak English and French. In summary, I have never been more relaxed on a holiday - which is how holidays should be in my book :o). It suits us perfectly, but each to their own as they say. We have made some really good friends (English, French and Dutch) while staying there and many of the people have been going back year after year"
