Crescendo offer good quality French fast food.
Centre Commercial LECLERC, Route de Bordeaux, 47200 MARMANDE
“Good value, good quality, and tons of choice so if everybody likes something different there is something for everyone. But it is informal. There is a small childrens play area with ball pool etc, but I have to say my children have never been in there (I always think - if a child was sick in a corner of it, would it ever get cleaned!!) Dont let me put you off however! Its excellent as a safe option. We love the great value children’s menu which comes with a toy. This restaurant is the proof of the quality of French ‘fast food’ as this is what the French consider basic food, but freshly cooked, generous portions and loads of choice. And as a vegetarian I can always make a really good meal from an Assiette de Légumes (you can go back as often as you want) or the salad bar.” (Victoria Sauron Dec 2010)
“Theres a huge choice of menus, very good value, fresh food, and my boys love to go in the little play area. Very relaxed and stress free atmosphere.” (Lauren Tait, Dec 2010)

"Le Moulin at Monbahus is about 25 mins from Eymet, probably less from Miramont. They have themed nights and Sunday lunch is fab – it’s British owned and family run - they have children/grandchildren same age. They have an email list they send round with the all-inclusive menu every week. We had Christmas dinner there on Christmas day last year - 8 courses over 6 hours - 40 euros and 20 for children, with normal nights around 18 and 10. They do have garden play stuff if weather is fair." (Jo Shepherd Dec 2010)
“The food was excellent and the service and atmosphere was like nothing I have experienced before in France. It is English run and food is very English, so if like me, you miss Sunday roasts out in front of a log fire then this will do the trick. I had the most amazing roast lamb and jam sponge pud and custard! Feeling rather full and fat now and it certainly is not allowed on my post baby diet but heh!? We found it really good value for money and I went with 4 kids ranging from 7 months to 7 years and they were accommodated for in every way.” (Lucy Vernon Dec 2010)

Au Bourg 47120 Villeneve de Duras (+33) 05 53 79 26 62
“It is spacious and children can just wander round a bit. They have a nice fire place and a cat there. Nice family type food, not very expensive and a menu for children is available. Bring some colouring books along.” (KS, Nov 2010)
Mama Chow ia an English/Cantonese Chinese Restaurant and Specialities in Cantonese & Szechwan Cuisine, Hong Kong style. Every dish is freshly cooked to order, (no buffet). Open every evening from 7pm (except Sunday & Monday) - also open Thursday 12 pm till 2pm as its market day in Eymet.
5 rue du Couvent 24500 Eymet 0553610772
“The Chinese in Eymet is ABSOLUTELY fantastic... My husband and I went there for dinner the other night and we had the most delicious meal. I highly recommend the spare ribs and the beef in black bean sauce, but in fact it was all good. The atmosphere was great and the owners are lovely too. It only seats 20 so you would probably have to book in advance on weekend nights.” (NS Jan 2011)

Pizzeria des Arcades is an Italian restaurant and pizzeria
PLACE GAMBETTA, 24500 EYMET (+33) 0553239005
“A local institution, reliable for any occasion, with an excellent and varied menu. It is closed in the winter when the owner runs a pizza van at the town market. In good weather be prepared to queue for an outside table, which as the medieval town square is so beautiful is a must especially if you’re bringing guests with you - but the inside is also smart and stylishly decorated. Small pizzas available for children, and high chairs (although high chairs don’t always come with straps so perhaps bring your own harness if you’ll need one!)” (VS, March 2011)

Crêperie de l’Atlantide is an authentic Breton pancake (crêpe) restaurant. Savoury and sweet pancakes with Breton cider.
36, rue Léopold Faye 47200 Marmande (+33) 0553202977www.valdegaronne.com/tourisme/Ar-Bilig-Creperie-de-l-Atlantide
“Such a good crêperie that it is always full and you might have to book or queue. Child-friendly (a basic savoury crêpe with cheese and ham is probably safe for even fussy children) although I’m not certain that there is a high chair - and there is lots of choice with even a gorgeous vegetarian speciality. The Breton cider is lovely too.” (VS, March 2011)
