Monkey Mountain, Kintzheim

Situated in Kintzheim (50 km South of Strasbourg), the “Montagne des Singes” is a park where Barbary Macaques have lived since 1969. The monkeys roam in a large area with no cages and no barriers but can distance themselves from the general public. You will find a self service restaurant just outside the park. The park also provides picnic tables.

Comments :

"I went there with my parents when I was a kid, and now it is my turn to take my kids to the Monkey Mountain. It is the nicest way to be close to a wild animal as you walk beside them and have the opportunity to touch and feed them." (GP, Nov 2010)
